SL : LB : A fashion-art brand currently focused on creating Italian footwear. She-Libra is the perfect balance of luxury, art, style and comfort. She, is your timeless, necessary fashion accessory.

Question: Fashion-art?

SL : LB: {giggles} Yes. Fashion design is also an expression of art and I just like to say it out loud {huge smile}!

Question: So, what does the brand name mean? Is it only for Libra's?

SL : LB: {huge laugh} My designs are for EVERYONE! Your zodiac nor gender should be a deciding factor in wearing my designs. The name simply means: she balances and the name says it twice once in English and in Italian!

Question: Why Italian?

SL : LB:  Because all of the custom designs are quality Italian leather, handcrafted  by master Italian craftsman... in Italy! 

Question: So, tell us about you? Why did you start She-Libra : Lei Bilancia?

SL : LB: Absolutely!  My name is Monai

 Saberille aka Head Artist in Charge and I have loved fashion since I was a child. My parents, to me, were the epitome of fashion. My mother, could create ANYTHING...no pattern needed! I would sketch designs and she would create them {a tear falls as she recalls those times}. Shoes are my first "fashion love" and I always had a desire to create and sell my own designs. So, I made the decision to do my best to make this dream a reality!  In my career as a corporate trainer, I often enjoyed wearing beautiful heels. However, there were times that I wished I had the option to wear a sneaker or sneaker wedge that would also compliment my business suite and  have the option to use the same shoe to dress up or dress down my casual wear after work. This option is especially beneficial when traveling  because it can reduce the number of  shoes that have to fit in a suitcase! While there are brands who have beautiful designs, the art  and/or comfort is often limited. The opposite of what I like to wear on my feet.  So, I decided to create what I, an many like me, desired which is the perfect balance of both art and comfort. I can't be the only one {laughs}!

Question: What is She-Libra by Request?

SL : LB:  I LOVE the art of  painting...anything! That includes shoes, clothing, walls, furniture, etc. She-Libra by Request allows the customer to request what I like to call "an original Monai" pained on almost any canvas. 

Question: What can we expect to see next?

SL : LB:  I will continue to work on creating and getting the word out, growing my men's footwear line, FJ Aaron, named after my dad as well as the JKs line designed by nephew. I also can't wait to get started on a clothing line!
